Exactly, no comparison

If it is any help, I requested Β£7.5k from Trading 212 in cash yesterday. It arrived in my current account overnight.
@ferret50 thatβs nice
Did that include selling, or was the money in cash?Just testing a withdrawal from Fidelity, & I get this message:

Sorry, a technical issue stopped us from placing your deal and our team are currently working to resolve this. Please try again shortly.
β
No way to know what is going on with that

Trading Platform and Investment Platform

Mike, that was from cash held on currently 5.1% paid daily. First withdrawal, so always a bit scary!
But I would now expect to sell assets held within T212 and be able to remove the cash realised in just the same way.

Hi Mike,
Your funds will be available 23rd (Monday), the 5th working day.
As Nik has pointed out, our system is an Investment platform. It is not designed to settle cash transactions the same day. No investment platforms do as far as I am aware.
There appears to be confusion between cash and 'asset' to cash withdraws. Stocks required T+3, transaction date plus 3 working days. Cash should be the next day. However if it's a 100% withdrawal then there will also be the uninvested cash held within the portfolio model which is held by the custodian and this would be requested and moved to your Metro account. I believe it will add 3-5 days.
A reminder that all switch transactions have a 9am(working day) cut off. Mike, and this detail is not confidential so i can post it, you actually submitted the switch at 9.19am. So theoretically you missed that days transaction file.

Just as update - this was indeed completed on Monday this week, which is fine (& thanks again for the replies)

As a counterpoint to @ferret50 - I have done the same with a Fidelity fund, and I am 4 working days in, with the cash not quite showing in the account

A call with them just now to check - the fella I spoke with confirmed once it was "cash" within the fund, it should transfer within 3 day.So a week feels 'normal', & certainly good enough
β
οΈOh, & Fidelity UK totally ignore messages on twitter and indeed my two messages to them within the platform, which kinda p!sses me off
Fair to say it is quite likely I will move that ISA entirely at some point in the future.
The info we can get with Cobens far outweighs Fidelity
(edit to add I have no idea why those two emojis get the male symbol....maybe I need the gender neutral ones

Follow-up on a very old thread: what are the withdrawal timescales for funds in an IM ISA now?
I'd like to take out about Β£10k (to buy a car - very PH!) If I put in the request via the website over the weekend then I am guessing it will be actioned on Monday morning (and not before).
When will the money be in my bank account for me to transfer to the seller?
Thanks.

I think you need to give more details so we can vote on the PH worthiness of the car. Timeframe are probably positively affected by cylinder count, engine displacement, horse power and negatively affected by cup holder count and electrification status.
