    Just to round this off….it was 9 days from placing order to receiving money with Fidelity 👀
    Happy with the Cobens timeframe 👍

      Follow-up on a very old thread: what are the withdrawal timescales for funds in an IM ISA now?

      I'd like to take out about £10k (to buy a car - very PH!) If I put in the request via the website over the weekend then I am guessing it will be actioned on Monday morning (and not before).

      When will the money be in my bank account for me to transfer to the seller?

      Thanks.

        I think you need to give more details so we can vote on the PH worthiness of the car. Timeframe are probably positively affected by cylinder count, engine displacement, horse power and negatively affected by cup holder count and electrification status.

          @Renmure-Jim Fair enough question!

          2002 S2 Elise. Bright red.

          Cylinder count: 4
          Displacement: 1800cc
          BHP: 156
          Cup holders: None at all
          Electrification status: Don't be rude.

          Will that delay release of the cash from my ISA?

            That’s a perfect answer. I just added an Elise about 6 weeks ago and have been having much fun in the sunshine.

            If it were up to me the ISA money would be with you, err, yesterday!!

              Haha, I did the same at the end of last year, to buy an E39 M5 that caught my eye...

              Took approx two weeks in total from me making the request to the cash being in my current account.

                5 working days from instruction to receipt of cash is the current time frame. Any trades are effective the same day circa 2-3pm uk time on the day received(dashboard instruction in by 9am)

                      Nik can answer that more clearly. My understanding is once set up it just ticks along but setting them up takes a number of weeks.

                        @Ducati996R
                        A SIPP withdrawal takes a little longer as it needs to run through FCA questionnaires, Payroll and HMRC
                        An ad hoc withdrawal 4 weeks, if you set up a regular income after the initial set up it just pays out each month
                        Drop me a message and I can walk you through the process to make it as smooth as possible

                        Cheers
