      Hi Gents

Apologies Dingg, I remember your suggestion and thought it was a good one and then didn't put the post up.

As mentioned elsewhere we have a number of interface upgrades in place which will look to streamline a lot of the admin processes that we run and this should not only improve efficiency but should also see you get quicker turnarounds and more info along the way so you can track the progress of a request.

That said in the meantime typically time lines are :
ISA/GIA 5-7 working days this allows for sell down of the asset and transfer of funds to your nominated bank account
Pension 4-6 weeks, This allows for the HMRC/Pay Roll process and then sell down of assets and transfer of funds to your nominated bank account
Pension payments can on occasion be quicker but use the above as a guide

Are these timescales still about correct? I think I'll need to pull some money out of MM in July to pay HMRC some money on account, so I need to be sure when to start the withdrawal process to make sure it's with me in time.

On a similar note, is my ISA a flexible one? That is, can I put the money back in sometime in this tax year, without using any of my 25/26 ISA allowance? I can't find anywhere that says one way or the other, which I expect means it's not, but confirmation would be appreciated.

The ISA's with IM (i.e before the move over to Cobens) were flexible ones and you could take as much as you liked out and pay it back in within a tax year.

I don't know if this has changed with the move to Cobens but expect that Adam/Nik will be along soon to give definitive wisdom.

Hi O, no change to any product wrappers. Still flexible . Take what you want and you can return it no issue within the same TY

Have to say, myself and Mrs R have found the "flexible" aspect of the ISA's to be an absolute dream despite having given no thought to the benefits of that when initially setting it up.

Thanks for the confirmation. And presumably the timescales are pretty much the same?

Last time we used the flexibility aspect to withdraw some money was last year. The sum amount was around £200k and the only complication was that we stupidly did it over the 4th July holiday period but other than that everything was as per the timescales given.

Timescales are unchanged. Allow 5 working days for ISA/GIA.

                      Afternoon Adam

How long for a request landing for a pension withdrawal until cash in my bank?

Nb this is a pension which has already been drawn from so all things are already in place for further withdrawals (I guess)

                      Tia

                        Hi G,

I think there is a difference between a one off withdrawal and a regular Income payment. I'm not sure if it is treated as a 'new' draw down. I'll let Nik answer that.

                        Regards

                            @dingg

It would typically be 2-3 weeks, there are a few variables that need reporting to HMRC dependent on the type of withdrawal.

Moving the required funds to cash ahead of the withdrawal can make the process quicker as it negates the wait for encashment later in the process

Feel from to drop me a message if it is urgent and I will watch it through for you

The value of your investments can go down as well as up, and you may get back less than you invested.
