Comments this morning from the Bank of England 'rates may fall faster than we first thought' due to potential inflationary pressures from oil has driven the pound down sharply (> 100bps) and strengthened the USD CCY pair-good for USD denominated assets.

Muppety question, but just to confirm…

In general terms then, for PHT (and also Lifestyle?) a strong USD vs a weak GBP is relatively good because the share prices are in USD and you effectively get more for your money when converting them back into GBP values?

        Hi Jim,
Top marks :). We report in GBP and your USD assets, other things being equal, are worth more GBP.

        Regards

        Adam

The value of your investments can go down as well as up, and you may get back less than you invested.
