I have a question/request relating to the dashboard displays …. The individual tabs for my pension, ISA and GIA all show the total value of each plan and then also a plan performance chart (all of which are looking very good at the moment). The account overview tab however only shows the total value. Would it be possible to have a similar performance chart for this tab displayed?

Hi Jeremy, we are planning to move to a new system within the next 6 months so i doubt there would be any further development of the current set up.

      Regards

      Adam

For what it's worth, I agree that an over view graphic would be useful and not onerous to develop

Good idea JerryC. I've wondered the same.

Interesting to hear a new system is on the way.
FWIW, I have a small pot with Fidelity, & quite like the short summary screen they give on the front page showing a total return and also an annualised return: something like this:

              Performance Gain/loss: +£16,762.00
              Total return +533.90%
              Annualised return: +9.82%

I am sure that is hard to calculate (given monies in and out), but there must be a way!

Annualised return imo is not a useful indicator. If we published tech, 103% it doesn't mean a lot. If the portfolio is not unitised, the calculations can be tricky. Currently, things like management fees are charged on the day of the month corresponding to 'your' inception date which means different returns, albeit small across the same holdings-this is why it's possible for two like holdings to have a daily difference.

I haven't seen the system revisions yet-I have just been told its coming.

I sense we may be straying into Cameron Diaz territory ...

The only way you'll see the CD again is via a netflix subscription 🙂

My friend liked the cat stuff.

Can we have more cat stuff?

                          Asking for a friend 🤣

The value of your investments can go down as well as up, and you may get back less than you invested.
