Genuine question - there must be a catch.

    alt text

ADIG dividend will be 19p on a 46p share price. £1000 would buy 2173.913 shares. Dividend in less than a fortnight would be £413.04. Sell shares on 22/11. Even if share value drops by 40%, you are still in profit on the deal.

It looks too good to be true.

I won't be doing it, as I'm averse to risk, but I'll be watching the price to see what really happens.

There must be a mistake in the data on the website, in that case.

        https://www.dividenddata.co.uk/

        It's definitely 19p, as the div impact is quoted as 40.95% ( 46.4 / 19 *100% )

        Yep, deffo 19p...

          Sir A,

In 2024 they paid 1.95p and more recently Board minutes show 1.5. The 19p is clearly an error. They don't have the means to pay 19-step away from the button 🙂

Reading the London Stock Exchange link, I interpret that they will issue B shares with a starting price of 19p (1 for 1).

I expect the combined price of the A & B shares will probably not exceed the current value of ADIG, but only time will tell.

            I'll watch with interest.

The value of your investments can go down as well as up, and you may get back less than you invested.
