SIPP monthly payments out

My wife has a monthly payment from her SIPP. I usually ensure that she has at least a month, usually several in 'Cash' at any given time.

What happens if I don't do this ? Will it automatically be taken from 'Money Markets' where she also has a holding ? Or will it be randomly, or evenly sold from all her other portfolios ?

In the absence of a specific instruction the funds will be proportionately drawn across the portfolios

Thanks Nik - so am I doing the right thing by manually transferring to Cash, or can I set up a standing instruction to take it from Money Markets ? There's at least a years worth in MM
